Firstly, don’t you just LOVE his name?
This adorable little boy came into the world at the end of May. It was such a joy to meet him, and photograph him of course — almost a month after I had watched mummy carrying him around in her belly during the family portrait session.
It was absolutely miserable outside with wind and rain, but then I saw Phoenix, and he was a little sunbeam, lighting up all around him.
Looking back on the photos while I was editing, I realised that all the shots that showed a glimpse of the bond between mother and child made me all warm and fuzzy inside. I just love that.
