I once moved to the other side of Australia for love and that didnt work out too well so i would be cautious this time. I get really home sick. If it was just to collect him i would travel to hell and back but live there, hmmm i dont know about that.

My husband and I met through Skype – me in Adelaide and him living on a US Base in Germany – and became instant friends. From the beginning we seemed to share a special connection and after a few months we realised there was something a lot deeper than friendship there. So he came to visit me for 6 days (it was all the time he could get off) to find out if what we shared ‘online’ was real ‘offline’ … and it was bigger than either of us could have imagined! There was a 6 month period between that visit and his next one, but during that time we spent as much time as we could talking through Skype, on the telephone and emailing each other. When he came again, we renewed our bond and deep feelings. Then after 3 months I went to visit him in Europe and we had a great road trip to Venice and Paris where we fell deeply in love.

He came again to share Christmas with my family and I, after what had been a real test of our love and relationship with many external factors threatening our future together.

Another trip by him after that and one more by me to Europe, where our daughter was ‘made’, and we both knew that we had to do what we could to have a life together in the same country!

So last year in June he moved to Adelaide and we were married in October (with baby in the oven). Unfortunately we had some more bad luck and he had to return to Germany, where he’s now been for 3 and a half months. We are planning for my daughter and I to move there to be with him. I will move anywhere as long as we can be together as a family. He truly is my guardian Angel :-)

My husband bought a one way ticket to Adelaide. That is love.

In November, I’ll travel to Brisbane to spend time with a man I met on the internet and have only spend a single weekend with.
Yet we’ve been talking and skypeing and writing for months now and are ready to live in the same timezone.
After that? Well – the world’s our oyster.

I left my family and friends (and the beautiful weather) in Philippines to be with the man I love. Even the cold winds of Tassie did not make me change my mind for one moment. The best decision I have ever made!

Some time before I met him, I was told by a doctor that I will have to go through some medication and tests before I can conceive, pretty much told to me “it’s going to be impossible”. But the good news came a week after our wedding :) I was pregnant! no medications, tests, etc! just the beautiful gift of nature… and our blessing didn’t stop there… baby number two arrived after 20 months! God is good and the love of my life is right beside me today showering me with the love I only imagined when I was younger. I will do it all over again if given another chance ^_^) Home is where my man is…

I met my fiancée on an overseas exchange in Canada last June. We spent a week and a half trying to fight feelings we both knew were there. After that time I continued my travels on to the USA and we missed each other like crazy, with me calling him everyday. He told me he didn’t want me to go back to Australia without coming back to see him so he paid for my trip back and after a month of us first meeting he proposed and I said yes.

I arrived back in Adelaide in July after 7mths of studying and travelling to tell family and friends that I was engaged to a guy I had only known for 4wks and that they knew nothing about.

Since our engagement I have return to Canada once for 6wks over Christmas and he finally came out to Australia for the first time in June, spending 2wks meeting family and friends and getting things organised for our wedding.

We get married in October in which he will return to Australia for 4wks. Due to work and studying commitments we will spend our 2 1/2mths of married life apart before I eventually move over to Canada after Christmas this year.

I dont think you can put a price on love..
I would do whatever it takes to be with the one I love..

I’ll quote something my Aunty taught me growing up and I say it to Ryan all the time!

“I love you around the world and back again, up and down every tree and through every ocean.. ”

I was luckily enough to meet my man at work, althought I had to quit when we got together! I wouldnt hesitate to follow him anywhere! I am following him next year to support him in the World Fire and Police Games! It helps that its in New York of course!!

Would I travel anywhere for love? I may sound selfish or shallow but no, I wouldn’t travel anywhere for love. I would not travel to a War torn country for example or somewhere in the remote Arctic. Never travel even a footstep for love if it meant sacrificing my dignity and self respect.

But I would travel as far as my heart knew was right. I would travel the path of time with my dearly beloved and ride life’s roller coaster hoping I’m holding on tight enough, desperately wishing it never ends. I would explore the world of culture and sexuality for love with respect, openess and honesty.

I feel travel brings about change no matter what type of travel it is, and change is what makes life worth the journey. So I booked my ticket before the tracks run out and can say I have traveled to over 13 countries for the love of my life and now firmly hold a seat on the joyride of parenthood. I wonder where I will visit next…

I gave up my and moved to Melbourne to be with the man of my dreams. In December last year we had a beauitful baby girl Charlie. Financial things didn’t go very well with his bussiness and we where owed alot of money by another company so I had to go back to work. I work as a disability support worker and because of the hours I work was unable to find anyone to look after bub so In March had to move back to Tasmania to work so mum could look after bub for me it has been 5 months since I moved back and we have only been able to catch up a couple of time. He is missing out on watching his daughter grow up. we live in different states but our relationship is still very strongh. When our money situation is better bub and I will move back and we are going to get married

So, why would I love a photo shoot? I can honestly say that last week I was reduced to tears when I realised that all of the photos from the past six months (the first six months of our first childs life) rarely contained an image of me. I am always behind the camera. And if I’m not, my husband is…. so very few images showing the two or three of us together actually exist. So I would love the opportunity to step in front of the camera for once, with my gorgeous husband, and document for our baby and ourselves just how madly and crazily in love we are!

I just read Donna’s response after I posted my own and am amazed that we feel so simarly… perhaps this will be a common theme!

Hi Jennifer.
I would like to win beacuse I didn’t have time or really the funds to get a proffessional photographer. We planned our wedding in 6 weeks. Due to the fact that we where going to move oversea and work over there.
But while planning the wedding hubby got a job here. So the oversea plan have been canceled.
My unlce took photos But he does more lansscape and its more of a hobby. So there where some shots i missed out on. And not alot of me and hubby. Whlie i had a great wedding i feel abit sad about not have good photos.
I would love to have some photos of hubby and i in our wedding outfit. But also some casual one.
I have sent invite out to all my frinds on My Friends list
